The first thing I do after I get out of the shower is put my hair up in a towel. Then after about 10 minutes I take it down and put in my favorite products.
YES TO CARROTS leave-in conditioner
I use this product after every shower/bath. I apply a quarter size amount to hair, starting from the tips and work to the roots. It leaves my hair soft and revitalized.
KNOT GENIE hairbrush
I brush the leave-in conditioner through my hair with this brush and after I've finished applying all the product. This is a great hairbrush. I have very long thick hair and this gets all my tangles out in a matter of minutes. Wet or dry!
ORGANIX nourishing coconut milk
After I brush out my hair and let it dry a little I apply a small amount of this all through my hair. It leaves it smelling AMAZING and it looks so shiny after styling it.
These are a few of my favorite drugstore makeup items that will leave you looking beautiful without breaking the bank.
Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder
I bought this powder for around $4. I saw macbarbie07 talk about it on youtube so I decided to try it out. It gives the perfect shine free finish to my everyday makeup look. It lasts all day long on top of my regular foundation. It is probably my favorite powder right now.
There has been a lot of talk around this mascara and it's totally worth the hype! Coming from a person who has very short lashes, this makes my lashes look longer and fuller than any other drugstore mascara. I believe I paid about $6 or $7 for it. Love love love!
I absolutely love this foundation! I just did a review of it! It's amazing! I have very oily skin and this product, along with it's great coverage, really does leave my face shine-free all day! It was only like $7 or $8 but I would have paid a lot more for a product of this quality!
I usually use liquid liner because I can never find a pencil that goes on smooth enough. This eyeliner was just what I needed. It's so smooth to apply. It doesnt fade all day. It blends well. Its altogether an eyeliner every girl should have.
Shine-free: I have extremely oily skin. A lot of times I don’t wear foundation all over my face because it will get shiny. This is the best shine-free foundation I’ve ever used. I apply it all over my face and my face stays shine-free all day. You can’t tell I have oily skin when I wear this foundation.
Coverage: When I use this on top of my regular concealer and under my powder, my face looks flawless. It’s a very light, but noticeable coverage. Very good.
Convenience: This foundation stick is extremely convenient. It is small so you can throw it in your bag for on the go. Also the stick form makes it really simple. You don’t have to deal with messy, liquid and you don’t need sponges. You just run the stick over your face and rub in with hands or a brush.
Overall review: Altogether I love this foundation. It’s wallet-friendly yet would be worth a lot of money. It does exactly what it promotes and more. I completely recommend this to all skin types.
Some people might argue that she was the most charismatic and elegant women to ever live. Those people would be right. She was witty and smart. She was well-mannered and spontaneous. She was stunningly beautiful. Till her death she kept up an admirable reputation. From Belgium, she was graced with looks and style unknown to today's world. She knew what men wanted and refused to give it to them. She said what she thought with out offending. She did what she did without care. She lived life to the fullest. If every women today aspired to be like this beautiful women, our world would be much different. I found it only proper to dedicate my first blog to the most elegant, Audrey Hepburn.
Modern Day Audrey Looks
One of the things America admired most about Hepburn was her unmatched style. While vintage is very in today, I thought I'd show you some very stylish modern Hepburn looks.
A simple way to channel Audrey in a one of her favorite pairings; a striped sweater and a solid pant. This is very modern and vintage and very Audrey Hepburn.
The Little Black Dress
Audrey Hepburn was a firm believer in "the little black dress." This is an essential for every lady's closet. Whether for going out or just a simple look, a black dress is flattering on almost any figure and always in style.
"I Believe In Pink."
Pink is always a wonderfully girly choice. It's perfect for every girl to show her fun, flirty side. Seeing how extremely elegant Hepburn was, she loved to play it up with a little pink.
Big eyes and red lips. That's the simplest way to have a face like Hepburn. She didn't have to do a lot to look beautiful, but what she did was always lovely. A popping eyeshadow color and black eyeliner and mascara and a simple red lipstick is all you need if you plan on having breakfast at Tiffany's anytime soon.
I hope you enjoyed my first ever blog. More fashion and femininity to come!
